In the way back home we had a 1 day stop by Strassbourg, next to the german border. We were many times already in the city and we enjoy walking through the small city center with its narrow streets.
We just buy an ice and enjoy the french cosmopolitan flair.
Another lovely thing of France: people live and enjoy life. There are so many special events, at night you meet many people on the streets, just going for a walk or celebrating the after work hours. Unlikely here in Germany, where after 19h you dont find anybody in the streets.
The night we were there, there was an air acrobatic show. In the middle of a plaza, for free and full of kids (even if it just started at 20h). People were just sitting/laying on the floor and enjoyed the nice summer evening with the family or friends. It was just food for the soul!
